Nicole Binczyk, CDA

Nicole Binczyk is a graduate from Durham College Communicative Disorders post graduate certificate program. Prior to this, she completed a Honours B.A in Linguistics at York University. When Nicole discovered Speech therapy, she was instantly driven to help others grow in all aspects of their speech and communication. 

 

Nicole has experience working with pre-school aged children and adults with various communication needs. Nicole has worked with stroke survivors, children diagnosed with ASD, articulation disorders, apraxia, dysfluency disorders, phonological disorders as well as various areas in language delay. In previous work and placement experience Nicole worked with PECS (Picture Exchange Communication Sytem), and various low-tech and high-tech AAC (Augumentative Alternative Communication) devices such as Let Me Talk, Proloquo2Go, Grid Application and many more.

 

Nicole is an enthusiastic, fun, creative therapist who likes to gear speech therapy towards the clients interests and hobbies while ensuring client success. Nicole is passionate and committed to work with each of her clients and client's family as a team member to help their family member at all ability levels communicate more effectively.

 

Nicole fluently speaks Polish as a second language and can provide speech therapy in Etobicoke, Mississauga and Brampton.
