Alice Ovacharova, CDA

Alice received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and a minor in Gerontology from Brigham Young University in Utah. She is a fun, empathetic, and hard working clinician who enjoys working with diverse age and nationality populations.

Alice has been part of speech motor planning and early language intervention research, which has helped her work with a wide variety of ages. She has worked in Canada and the USA as a speech language pathology assistant in both educational and clinic settings. Alice has experience working with early language intervention, dyslexia, non-verbal/verbal ASD children, AAC devices, articulation and fluency disorders, as well as childhood apraxia of speech. She involves compassion and care for her clients in intervention as she strongly believes that everyone deserves their voice to be heard in whichever way they are able to express themselves.

Alice is committed to incorporating cultural competence and individualized services to make clients feel comfortable when they are in speech therapy.

Alice can provide services in English and Bulgarian.
